The “Loeffele” was first mentioned in 1790. Back then, it was most likely a post coach station. In 1936/37, Martin Waldner’s grandparents bought the “Loeffele” and converted it to an inn.
The “Loeffele” goes beyond the hotel building - the Berggeisthuette cottage in the Weissbriach ski area and the Gartnerkofel hotel on the Nassfeld, managed by Anneliese and Martin Waldner, supported by Herta and Christoph Waldner, are part of the same endeavor. Vanessa and Lukas will be the fourth generation in charge of the hotel and its ancillaries.
